Marketers agree that online and offline marketing are merging
Digital marketing has come of age, and digital commerce is now top priorities for marketers, according to a new survey of marketers conducted by Gartner, which revealed that 98% of marketers think online and offline marketing are merging.
And while distinctions between digital marketing and marketing are vanishing, digital commerce has also become the mandate for driving profitable growth, concluded Gartner after surveying marketers from 339 large and extra-large companies in North America and the United Kingdom.
The survey took place between May and July 2015 and is the fourth year that Gartner has surveyed marketers on spending priorities and marketing operations.
